THE REALITY OF THE FIELD
SchemaFiber allows you with a simple click to switch from a schematic view to the geographical correspondence of your network.
It’s up to you to choose which mode is the most appropriate for the work you want to do.
SIMPLIFIED ENTRY
SchemaFiber offers a simple geographic entry allowing the user to quickly create optical points, cables and tracks (geographical areas or passing trough cables).
BACKGROUND MAP
SchemaFiber provides a map of the entire planet derived from OpenStreetMap. It is however possible to replace it with your own WMS (webmapservice) containing your own more precise cadastral data.
GEOGRAPHIC TABLES
All the geographic objects created in SchemaFiber are directly saved in standard format geographic feature tables. Those tables can be directly interpreted by the different standard GIS of the market.
It is therefore possible to create your own layouts on the GIS of your choice and to publish your own WMS of your optical network using the existing tools of the market.
IMPORT
You can import your existing geographical data into SchemaFiber, accepted formats are Kml and Shp.
Importing geographic data will save you time.
Get the benefit from all your work before the acquisition of SchemaFiber by starting the schematic directly on your already existing objects.
EXPORT
The available export formats are kml and shp. You can filter objects and export only part of your network or only selected types of objects.
TRACKING LINKS
Geography allows you to view within a single mouse click the different points of interrest of an optical link.
